First Day of the Rest of Your Life: Medical School

I have waited for this day so long I wasn't sure it would ever arrive. Yesterday was my first official day of medical school. I wasn't sure what to expect or who I would meet but I was definitely surprised by how well everyone got to know each other so quickly. Everyone has a different story of how they got in, different families and different cultures but we all had finally arrived at what most of us considered our biggest dream.

I arrived bright and early to our designated parking spot (1 mile away from campus) and caught the shuttle full of students just like me bursting with excitement and anticipation. I think I am least excited about the daily shuttle ride everyday, since it puts an extra 20 minutes into my morning commute. The bus was pretty packed and loud, but I'm hoping as things settle down I can use the time to catch up on news, blogs, and maybe even review some flashcards.

The best part of the day was when we all received our bright and shiny new MacBooks. Since all of our books and exams are on computer, we are required to have one. Our student affairs head was quite insistent that we all waited to turn on our computers together. If you have never heard 126 MacBooks all being turned on for the first time, let me just say, its a beautiful thing.

What I wore:

                          | Cheetah Grey Shirt | Hibiscus Red Pencil Skirt |
| H&M Navy skinny belt, similar belt  Target Skinny belt | Longchamp Tote, Navy |
P.S. this is my first blog post, but I'm hoping to become a faithful blogger as I make my way through my medical school adventure, one outfit at a time. Follow if you want to hear more about my  medical adventures, outfits, cooking and pretty much everything in between.
